I have reset OneDrive and this didn't help. It opens the old OneDrive for Business sync client and asks to sync a library. I then browse to the newly installed OneDrive icon (cloud coming out of the folders rather than the old cloud icon) and click on it.

It looks like it doesn't install properly. Notice the underscore and number 2 on the end of the version number. I noticed that when I install the newer client it shows a folder under %localappdata%\Microsoft|OneDrive\.1023_2 The configuration created by the site administrator isn't supported." There have been no changes in our office 365 admin portal. The older client is now running and pops up with the error that "We can't sync this library because Everything has been working fine until my OneDrive is randomly disconnected and the newer version is not working at all. I installed the newer version (.0830) which does not askįor a sync library. The sync app automatically takes over syncing in the same folder location you were using before. It's the version that pops up and asks for a library sync. Note: If you were already syncing OneDrive for work or school to your computer (using the previous sync app) and youve just installed the sync app, you wont see the This is your OneDrive folder or the Sync files from your OneDrive screen during OneDrive Setup. I deleted the One Drive Business app but the icons still appear in file explorer. The native OneDrive for Business client has been running on this machine for a while. Remove old One Drive Business Icons in File Explorer I used One Drive for Business to sync some files for a company I no longer work for.
